In my 70 years on this planet I have had 3 such sure death experiences
I have on 3 occasions cheated death because of the help of some being or force outside myself. I have not talked about these experiences much because I truly do not want to argue with anyone about the cause of the help. I am not a religious person but I have become a very spiritual one because of my experiences. I will relate one of my experiences. I was 20 years old and a solider in the 82ndAirborne Division. It was in 1960. During a jump I had a collision with another jumper and my main parachute collapsed. I was about 600 feet above the ground. I fell away from the other man and pulled my reserve chute. The reserve went directly into the main and both began to spiral and tangle. I was dead. I immediately felt a presence. I became calm. I was told to do what I was trained to do. I felt no fear and began to try to untangle my reserve and re deploy it. Again, I would like to stress I had a very peacefulfeeling. After I hit I was unconscious but when I came to I felt good and to the surprise of the several men around me I went on to complete my mission. Folks, this help I received was real and not some part of my brain taking over or the altitude or loneliness. I had help from outside myself and from outside what we know and understand.

Amazing ay. I believe we have protective angels who sometimes speak to warn or encourage us at moments when it's most needed. [ie. you're not crazy!! LOL]
Thanks Brenda. After much thought over the years I believe you are right on. I have come to believe these "angels" or "master spirits" are there to help if a person is open for their help. The sad thing is I also believe many people are not open and the help is refused. Claude
If you would like to read another excellent unsolicited example of what I perfer to call "the Spirit Factor" drop by your local library and look up "The Long Grey Line" by Rick Atkinson and turn to page 335. This is an interesting history of the 1966 class of West Point.
