The wonderful stories being shared here remind me of a CBC interview some months back, in which a man described being attacked by a machete-weilding fellow in an underground parking lot.   The moment the man's arm was slashed  he left his body and found himself with a loving Presence who informed him he could watch what was taking place in 3-D or not.     The man was attempting to tell his story to as many people as possible, particularly those whose child had been kidnapped and murdered.   He desperately wanted the parents to know that the child was not left to experience the horror, but was "removed" somehow from the scene.
