Unbelieveable response so far to the half hour interview onCBC's The Current. If you missed in on the radio you can visit TheCurrent's Website and play it at your leisure. Interestingpoint: I've received more than two dozen emails from people, mostof whom say they have experienced the Third Man Factor. But not oneof them has gone on to this Website to share it with others. Ithink this speaks to something I address in the book -- areluctance by people to come clean about their experience. There isan under-reporting of cases, and in fact some of the Third Manencounters described in the book were actually not reported in theoriginal, published, official accounts of these expeditions for thevery reason that people are concerned about what others think.Charles Lindbergh is an example of this. He published a book soonafter the famous flight of the Spirit of St. Louis. It was decadesbefore he admitted to encounters helpful 'presences' in thefuselage. It's time to shed the stigma!
