National Geographic Channel (NGC) has announced Explorer: The Third Man Factor will air this special episode of Explorer based on the book, The Third Man Factor: Surviving the Impossible by John Geiger which uses science to investigate the phenomenon of people on the brink of death who claim the presence of a helper who leads them toward survival.
